Opereta is an AI call copilot that makes the phone calls you dread, customer service, cancellations, bill negotiations, insurance, while you supervise from a live "mission control" dashboard and can take over the call at any moment.
The thesis: everyone has a backlog of calls they avoid because the cost is holds, IVR mazes, and confrontation, not the outcome. Existing tools either screen inbound calls or fully automate outbound in ways people don't trust. Opereta's bet is that the right product is supervised delegation: the AI does the tedious 95 percent, and the human stays in the loop for the moments that matter.
That shows up in the feature set. The AI navigates IVRs, sits through hold queues, and negotiates within "decision envelopes" the user pre-authorizes (for example, accept any outcome that cuts the bill by at least X). A notification ladder pulls the user in only when a decision needs them, and hold-then-handoff lets the AI wait on hold and bridge the user in live. It does pre-call research to brief itself, suppresses recording during sensitive credential entry, and sends a recap after every call.
